Please note Northwood Recovery clinic will remain open for our regular business hours during the COVID-19 pandemic. ALL clients attending the clinic will be screened for COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care recommendations prior to entering the clinic and hand hygiene will be required. We will be accepting new intakes during the pandemic, but we do request they call ahead if possible.
Northwood Recovery will accommodate any individual required to self-isolate to ensure they still receive their medication-assisted treatment.
To ensure social distancing we have reduced the number of appointments and samples per week for clients according to their stability on a case-by-case basis. We will also be limiting the number of clients who are present at the clinic at any given time through appointment scheduling. Clients are encouraged to call ahead if they have any symptoms, exposure to COVID-19, or have recently travelled.
Part of recovery is addressing issues with a sense of immediacy and we can accommodate those individuals looking to take on treatment immediately.
Transferring clinics is very simple. If you have earned carries, you will maintain them and patients can start medicine on the same day.
In fact, returning patients have minimal wait time and new patients are seen on the same day.
